The Larva Farm Committee Meeting Monday focused on the recent problems with the honey production line. Quite a stir was caused when the Larva demanded their wings back.

Maybee We’ll Getta Kitten
Became a real bee on Tuesday. When asked “Where she will fly first?” She answered “Green Bay Wisconsin, then Disneyland!!!.”

3 Maybees sent to the Larva Farm-Queen refuses to give them an extension. "The law is the law!" said the Queen, "And I will make no exceptions. Three months is long enough to become real!"
The Maybees live in a world that lies somewhere between “yes “ and “no.” Each of the Maybees arrive when a child’s request is answered with the word “maybe.” When they appear, they bring with them an item or marker relating to the child’s request. Bike always carries his bike because Jake wanted to go for a bike ride.
The hive has many of the things that you might find in any town, such as the Nectar Café that serves specialty beverages and is a popular meeting place for the Maybees.
There is also a Hall of Fame that displays pictures of the Maybees that have become real bees when the “maybe” that led to their creation turned into a “yes”.
There is, of course, a Queen who rules the hive. She is, unfortunately, not the nicest of bees. “Off with their wings!” is her advice for bees remaining in the hive longer than a month. In her mind a Maybee that has been at the hive that long will never become a “yes” so he or she might as well be put to good use in the larva farm--a dark, cold and smelly place in the catacombs of the hive.
It is with this constant threat that the Hive Five have set out to change the world one “yes” at a time.
